Shuttle must be booked 18 hours ahead of scheduled ride.  

31 miles (yes 31 miles!) of Classic Tahoe single track from the Tahoe Rim Trailhead on hwy 431 (Mt. Rose Hwy) to Carson City using the Capital to Tahoe trail connector to the Carson City Ash Canyon trail system. You will climb just over 2000' and descend 5000' over the course of the ride. Park for the shuttle behind The Bike Smith bike shop in Carson City. 900 N. Carson Street, 89701. 

The shuttle ride is about :45 minutes to get you to the start of the trail at the Tahoe rim trail parking lot on HWY 431. You ride back to your vehicle in Carson City. If you have a group of 5 or more we can schedule any day for a shuttle. Send an e mail. We will add days to run the shuttle as interest builds.

This is one of the best mountain bike point to point rides in the Tahoe Area. Moderately techincal and you should have fitness, food and water to spend 3-6 hours on the ride to get back to your vehicle in Carson City. You can find the route in MTB Project as "Rose to Lodes".
